Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) reported a third-quarter profit that exceeded expectations, with earnings of $25.824 billion or $3.46 per share, up from $21.939 billion or $2.94 per share last year. Analysts had predicted earnings of $3.22 per share. Revenue for the period increased by 13.3% to $70.066 billion from $61.858 billion last year.
