Nordex SE Secures Wind Turbine Orders For 472 MW From OX2 In Finland

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex SE has secured two orders from Swedish company OX2 AB to supply a total of 70 N175/6.X wind turbines in Finland. The orders include a 35-year maintenance and service contract. The turbines, part of the Delta4000 series, will be used in the Honkakangas and Rajamäki wind projects totaling 472 MW. They will feature tubular steel towers, cold climate adaptations, and an Anti-Icing System for icy conditions. Installation is set for 2026-2027, with commissioning in 2027-2028. Nordex CEO Jos Luis Blanco is excited about being awarded the contracts for these large projects, marking their first use in the Nordics.
