Northland Power Inc. has secured financing for the Jurassic Battery Energy Storage System project in Alberta, expected to be the largest in the province once completed. The 80 MW system will benefit from a 15-year fixed price contract and is projected to be operational by late 2026. The project cost is estimated at $120 million, with construction costs funded by project-level financing and existing resources.
