Perseus Mining has made a Final Investment Decision to develop the Nyanzaga Gold Project in Tanzania, investing approximately US$523 million. The project is expected to produce first gold in Q1 2027, with total gold production estimated at 2.01 Moz over an 11-year mine life. The investment metrics include an Undiscounted free cashflow pre-tax of US$1,133 million and post-tax of US$706 million. The decision builds on Perseus’s successful track record in developing and operating gold mines in Africa. Additionally, a second phase of resource definition drilling is underway to potentially extend the operation beyond the projected 11-year mine life.
