Polestar plans to shift manufacturing to Europe due to U.S. tariffs, sales increase

Swedish electric-vehicle maker Polestar plans to shift more manufacturing to Europe due to U.S. tariffs. The company reported a 76% increase in first-quarter sales, partly boosted by offers targeting Tesla owners in the U.S. Polestar sold 12,304 vehicles in the quarter, up from 6,975 a year ago. They plan to expand to Eastern Europe and Brazil next year.
