Popular YouTuber's Tesla bought for FSD is now only worth 20% of its value

Popular tech YouTuber Zack Nelson, aka JerryRigEverything, revealed his 2018 Tesla Model X is now worth just $22,400, 20% of what he paid for it, calling out Elon Musk’s promise of appreciating Teslas with Full Self-Driving. Musk once claimed buying a Tesla was an investment, not an expense, but Tesla has since cut the price of FSD multiple times, causing used Teslas to lose value three times faster than average cars. Many Tesla owners shared similar frustrations, criticizing Tesla for prioritizing its robotaxi network over promised FSD features. Musk has been overly optimistic about autonomy, with previous predictions falling short on delivering fully autonomous cars.
