House builder Redrow has started the construction of Elm Grove housing project in Trowbridge, UK, offering 247 homes from one to four bedrooms. The project will include green spaces and contribute over £1.8 million to local community improvements. Energy-efficient homes with low-carbon technologies are part of the development, aligning with Redrow’s net zero goal by 2050. These homes are projected to save homeowners over £970 annually. The project will feature a variety of house types to cater to diverse buyer preferences and lifestyles. Redrow’s chief executive will step down in June after the company’s merger with Barratt, with COO also retiring in September. The merger, valued at £2.52bn, received approval from the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority in August 2024.
