Stellantis experiences lower shipments in Q1 due to production challenges in North America and Europe

Stellantis N.V. estimates weak shipments in Q1 due to lower North American production and Enlarged Europe volume. New models like Citron C3 Aircross and Ram trucks boosted order intake. Total shipments for Q1 were 1.2 million units, down 9% YoY. North American shipments decreased by 20%, impacted by extended holiday downtime and product transitions in Enlarged Europe. Jeep Compass, Grand Cherokee, and Ram trucks saw volume increases. Stellantis Third Engine saw a 4% increase in shipments, driven by growth in South America. Shipments in Middle East & Africa declined by 15% due to import restrictions.
