The Thai stock market is looking at another soft start on Tuesday after sinking almost 4.2 percent in two sessions. The SET index finished sharply lower on Friday, stumbling 3.15 percent to close at 1,125.21. Major sectors like food, consumer, finance, and technology were hit hard. The global forecast suggests a rebound for Asian markets after heavy losses in Europe and mixed results in the U.S. The Dow fell 0.91 percent, the NASDAQ rose 0.10 percent, and the S&P 500 dropped 0.23 percent on Monday. Crude oil prices also tumbled 2.1 percent to $60.70 a barrel due to tariff concerns.
