Optimism about potential U.S.-China tariff reductions boosted global markets, with European and U.S. markets closing higher. The SET saw gains from various sectors and closed up 0.82 percent at 1,144.05. Trading volume was at 7.540 billion shares worth 35.739 billion baht, with 334 gainers and 146 decliners. Key active stocks included Thailand Airport, Asset World, and BTS Group. Wall Street also surged, with the Dow up 2.66 percent, NASDAQ up 2.71 percent, and S&P 500 up 2.51 percent. Crude oil prices rose on new Iran sanctions.
