Stocks dropped in late morning trading, with major indexes lower after latest inflation data. The Dow fell 300 points (0.7%), S&P 500 down 1%, Nasdaq Composite down 1.5%. At session lows, Dow down 700 points, Nasdaq down nearly 3%.
S&P 500 and Dow set to end six-day winning streaks.
