TL carrier Pamt books another loss in Q1

Pamt Corp., formerly Pam Transportation Services, reported a net loss of $8.1 million in the first quarter, with a 15% drop in revenue compared to the previous year. The truckload carrier’s TL segment saw a 10% decrease in revenue, with a 7% decline in loaded miles. Salaries, wages, and benefits increased, while logistics revenue fell 25%.
The company had an operating cash flow use of $1.4 million in the quarter and liquidity of $163 million at the end of the quarter, lower than the previous year. Outstanding debt was down to $309 million. Shares of Pamt were down 1.2% compared to the S&P 500. This marks the sixth straight operating loss for the TL segment.
