Vallourec has won a major contract to supply line pipes for Brazil’s Búzios 10 offshore project, totaling nearly 18,000 tons of premium carbon steel line pipes. The project is located at the Búzios field, operated by Petrobras. This contract also includes an optional scope of almost 5,000 tons. The field, situated off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, is one of the largest deepwater fields globally and is expected to significantly increase production with five additional units starting operations by 2028. The contract includes Vallourec’s Pipe Navigator solution for seamless project management and access to up-to-date documentation and data.
