Vertical Cold Storage has acquired Arctic Logistics, making it the sixth-largest cold storage company in North America. The Michigan-based location adds 140,000 square feet and 19 dock doors to Vertical Cold’s network. This is Vertical Cold’s fifth facility acquisition in the past year. The company specializes in frozen commodity handling. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition strengthens their ability to support cross-border trade and expands their national footprint. Vertical Cold focuses on temperature-controlled facilities and is backed by Platform Ventures. Arctic Logistics president looks forward to sustained growth with the partnership.
