Volaris sees increase in RPMs and ASM capacity, but decrease in load factor

In March 2025, Volaris reported a 7.8% increase in RPMs and a 10.9% increase in ASM capacity year-over-year. Mexican domestic RPMs grew by 9.9%, while international RPMs increased by 4.6%. The load factor decreased by 2.4 percentage points to 84.4%. Volaris transported 2.6 million passengers during the month. CEO Enrique Beltranena stated that domestic load factor remained stable, with international demand showing limited elasticity. The shift of the Easter holiday into April contributed to reduced load factors. Volaris will continue to monitor booking patterns and adjust capacity accordingly.
