Walgreens is urging the public to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 26, 2025, to safely dispose of unused medications. The company has over 1,500 kiosks in 46 states and D.C. offering free disposal services year-round. Walgreens also provides alternative disposal options like DisposeRx for stores without kiosks. Since 2016, Walgreens has safely eliminated over 6.5 million pounds of prescription drugs. On Friday, WBA closed at $11.01, down 0.18%, and is currently trading after hours at $10.98 on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
