China has reportedly decided not to accept deliveries of Boeing’s planes, which investor Stephanie Link says is not material for Boeing at this time. Link, who owns BA stock and is the Chief Investment Strategist of Hightower Advisors, explains that the impact on Boeing is minimal as the company has 130 unfilled orders from China, representing just 2%-3% of its total backlog. Despite recent price drops in BA stock, Link believes Boeing’s maintenance business will be a positive driver of its margins due to the aging global fleet of planes.
