Apple Inc. (AAPL) is set to announce its fiscal second-quarter earnings for 2025, with analysts expecting a profit of $1.60 per share, up 4.6% from the year-ago quarter. The company has consistently exceeded Wall Street’s EPS estimates in its last four quarterly reports.

In the previous quarter, AAPL’s EPS of $2.40 surpassed estimates by 1.7% due to strong performance in its Services segment and resilient iPhone sales. Analysts project AAPL’s EPS to increase to $7.22 for the current year and climb to $8.03 in fiscal 2026.

AAPL stock has risen 13.2% over the past 52 weeks, outperforming the S&P 500 and the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund. Apple shares plunged over 25% in the first week of April due to U.S.-China tariff tensions, but rebounded by more than 15% on April 9 amidst signs of easing trade policies.

Analysts hold a reasonably hopeful consensus opinion on AAPL stock, with a mix of ratings including “Strong Buy,” “Moderate Buy,” “Hold,” and “Strong Sell.” The average price target for AAPL is $244.11, suggesting a 23.2% potential upside from current levels.
