Finnish company YIT has secured a €47m contract with Lithuanian firm JSC Limada to renovate the Mada shopping centre in Vilnius. The project will cover 43,000m², aiming for an energy class A rating post-renovation. Construction is set to start in September 2025, with completion expected by August 2027.

YIT’s order book for the second quarter will include the Mada shopping centre renovation contract. The company operates in eight countries with around 4,100 employees. Recently, YIT also began the construction phase of the Salvia building in Helsinki and received a planning reservation for an area in Espoo, Finland.

The Mada shopping centre renovation in Vilnius, Lithuania, is part of YIT’s ongoing construction projects. The company continues to expand its operations in various sectors across multiple countries.
