Yum Brands, the parent company of Pizza Hut, reported mixed quarterly results with a decline in same-store sales. Earnings per share were $1.30, slightly beating expectations, while revenue fell short at $1.79 billion. Pizza Hut’s same-store sales dropped 2%, while Taco Bell saw a 9% growth. KFC’s same-store sales rose 2%. CEO David Gibbs announced plans to retire in 2026.
