Warren Buffett has long-term investments in two top artificial intelligence (AI) stocks, comprising over 26% of his $258 billion portfolio. Buffett bought shares of Apple in 2016 and it remains his largest holding. Apple’s AI technology, Apple Intelligence, focuses on user privacy and has driven growth for the company.
Buffett initially regretted not investing in Amazon sooner, but now holds it in his portfolio. Amazon’s cloud computing business, Amazon Web Services (AWS), is a leader in AI technology, contributing to its explosive growth. AWS reached a $117 billion annual revenue run rate in the recent quarter.
Apple stock has dipped recently due to manufacturing concerns in China, but the impact appears limited. With a forward earnings estimate of 28 times and efforts to diversify manufacturing, Apple looks like a solid long-term investment. Amazon’s stock, trading at 32 times forward earnings estimates, also appears promising for growth and security.
