Alstom and ATM Group form a joint venture to bid for the Luas light rail system contract in Dublin, Ireland, serving over 40 million passengers annually. The JV plans to focus on operational efficiency and sustainability, combining Alstom’s transport expertise with ATM’s urban transport network management. Alstom aims to deliver a high-performing solution for the Luas system’s future needs, emphasizing reliability, sustainability, and innovation. Alstom has been operating in Ireland for over 20 years, manufacturing the entire Dublin Luas fleet, including 55m long trams that are 98% recyclable and 100% low-floor. Alstom also delivered automated people-mover trains to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, marking its largest APM replacement contract in the Americas.
