AMG's revenue and adjusted EBITDA increased, with new investments and high order backlog

AMG Critical Materials N.V. reported an 8% increase in revenue for the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, reaching $388 million. The adjusted EBITDA also saw an 88% increase, reaching $58 million. AMG’s Technologies segment achieved its highest order backlog in history, at $416 million as of March 31, 2025. Additionally, AMG Lithium BV signed an exclusive agreement to become the first producer of lithium concentrate in Portugal. AMG approved a $15 million capital investment to establish a chrome metal production facility in the US.
AMG Vanadium’s revenue decreased by 7% in the first quarter of 2025, while AMG Technologies saw a 34% revenue increase. AMG Technologies’ order intake was 31% higher than in 2024, reaching $107 million. AMG Lithium’s revenue decreased by 23% due to lower lithium market prices. The first quarter of 2025 adjusted EBITDA declined by 6% compared to the same period in 2024. AMG’s liquidity as of March 31, 2025, was $486 million, with $286 million in unrestricted cash.
