Aypa Power secures $535m for a 320MW solar-plus-storage project in California, aiming to enhance grid reliability and support renewable energy goals. Santander, US Bank, Zions Bancorporation, Siemens Financial Services, and Associated Bank play key roles in financing. The project will create jobs and economic benefits in San Bernardino County.

Expected to be operational in 2026, the Vidal project will deliver electricity to San Diego Community Power under a long-term agreement. Aypa Power CFO Marc Atlas expresses confidence in delivering grid-scale assets and meeting California’s grid reliability needs. The company also secured $190m for a Texas energy storage project earlier this year.
