Azimut Inc. presents encouraging results from their diamond drilling program for antimony-gold on the Fortin Zone of their Wabamisk Property in Quebec, Canada. The program involved 51 diamond drill holes for a total of 6,396 meters, leading to plans for a 10,000-meter drilling campaign to detail and expand the Fortin Zone.

Due to a persistent supply shortage and trade disputes, the price of antimony has risen sharply, reaching $58,000 USD per ton outside of China. Azimut’s drilling program at Wabamisk in late 2024 followed the surface discovery of the Fortin Zone and has resulted in significant findings, including the top 10 drill holes with antimony grades above 0.2% Sb.

The preliminary geometry of the Fortin Zone has been determined by 31 mineralized drill holes, with a minimum length of 1.0 km and an average thickness of about 25 m. The mineralized system is hosted in a sub-vertical feldspar porphyry sill with significant potential for kilometer-scale depth extensions.

Azimut’s Wabamisk Property, 100% owned, covers 350.5 km² and is strategically located near existing mining operations. The company has a robust exploration portfolio in Quebec, including the Elmer gold project, which has indicated resources of 311,200 ounces and inferred resources of 513,900 ounces based on a gold price of $1,800 USD per ounce.

Azimut applies innovative data analysis methods to drive exploration success and maintain a strong financial discipline. With a focus on systematic data analysis, the company continues to advance its projects, including Wabamisk, Kukamas, and Pilipas, in addition to its flagship Elmer and Galinée lithium projects.

Azimut’s work at the Wabamisk Property has been ongoing since 2005, with results from previous partners contributing to the current findings. The company’s commitment to rigorous exploration practices ensures the quality of its projects and results.
