A rally in Big Tech boosted the market, with the Nasdaq up 0.8% and the S&P 500 up 0.4%. The Dow gained 150 points, or 0.4%. Big Tech led the charge, but now five of the 11 major S&P 500 sectors were rising, with nearly half of S&P 500 stocks closing higher, a reversal from earlier.
