Investors of Bitcoin Satoshi’s Vision (BSV) are trying to revive a lawsuit against Binance for delisting the altcoin, claiming it hurt BSV’s price. They demanded $9 billion in damages in the original case. BSV’s long-term price decline is blamed on major exchange delistings. The price surged 15% following the news.
BSV investors could seek up to $13 billion in damages if they win the legal battle. BSV’s price currently sits at around $42 but remains in a long-term downtrend. Binance delisted BSV in 2019 due to Craig Wright’s behavior, who falsely claimed to be Bitcoin’s creator. BSV has suffered multiple 51% attacks since then.
Former Binance CEO warned BSV of delisting if Wright continued his claims. 51% attacks have plagued BSV, compromising the network’s security. Substance abuse among crypto traders is on the rise.
