Brazil's Gol Airlines secures $125 million financing to exit Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Brazilian airline Gol has reached a new deal with key creditors, set to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection by end of June. The agreement with investors holding a portion of senior secured notes will provide $125 million in financing. Gol has secured at least $1.375 billion in total financing. The majority group of creditors’ support increases chances of restructuring plan approval. Creditors not part of investing group may receive up to $100 million in new debt. Other investors can participate with up to $50 million in financing. Gol has been in bankruptcy since early 2024.
