Church & Dwight is set to acquire hand sanitizer brand Touchland for up to $880 million, with $700 million upfront and a $180 million contingent payment based on 2025 net sales. Touchland’s net sales for the past year were approximately $130 million, with projected growth in 2025 and 2026. The brand is known for high brand loyalty and repeat purchases, targeting younger consumers.

Touchland products are currently available in the U.S. and Canada, with recent expansion into the Middle East through Sephora. Church & Dwight CEO, Rick Dierker, expressed excitement about adding Touchland as their eighth power brand, highlighting the brand’s growth potential and consumer loyalty. Touchland’s founder, Andrea Lisbona, sees the partnership as an opportunity to accelerate global expansion and reach more consumers.

Previously, Church & Dwight acquired Hero Cosmetics for $630 million in 2022, adding to their portfolio which includes brands like Nair, Batiste, and Arm & Hammer. The company also announced plans to sell or close three brands: Flawless, Spinbrush, and Waterpik, generating about $150 million in net sales with below-average profitability. This decision aims to strengthen the company, focus on core brands, and reduce tariff exposure, with an expected second-quarter charge of $60-80 million.
