Clarium, a healthcare technology company, secures $27m in Series A funding led by Northzone, with support from General Catalyst and others. The total raised now stands at $43m, aiming to enhance health systems and address supply chain challenges. The AI-powered platform predicts disruptions and offers cost-saving solutions for hospitals.

Clarium’s platform utilizes AI to streamline data from healthcare participants, predicting supply chain disruptions using real-time information on weather and geopolitical events. Hospitals using Astra OS have reported $10m+ savings, faster disruption resolution, and improved substitute approvals. The funding will expand Astra OS and develop new solutions.

Since its seed funding, Clarium has doubled its workforce, partnered with major health systems like The Cleveland Clinic, and joined the Healthcare Industry Resiliency Collaborative. CEO Steve Liou emphasizes AI’s role in modernizing the hospital supply chain, improving efficiency, cutting costs, and enhancing patient outcomes. The support from investors will enable platform scaling nationwide.
