Coppernico Reports Significant Surface Channel Sampling

Coppernico Metals Inc. reports promising surface channel sampling results from the Tipicancha target, including 22m of 0.65% copper and 0.77 g/t silver. The alteration footprint at Tipicancha has been extended by 500m, demonstrating classic epithermal-style alteration and geochemistry. Ongoing fieldwork aims to refine key features and identify additional targets.

Geologists at Coppernico expanded the Tipicancha pyrite horizon footprint with surface channel sampling, revealing trace to anomalous concentrations of precious metals and copper. The sampling also showed elevated values of pathfinder elements like molybdenum and arsenic, suggesting a transition from an epithermal to a porphyry environment. Ongoing work aims to determine the dimensions of the pyrite body.

Tipicancha represents a younger potentially porphyry-epithermal system compared to nearby Eocene-aged porphyry-skarn deposits. Coppernico aims to advance Tipicancha as a target for the Phase 2 drill program. The company also plans to expand surface access for drilling and increase the number of drill holes, highlighting the strong potential of its copper-gold discovery opportunities.
