Dillard’s sued Wells Fargo for breaching a co-branded credit card agreement, causing tens of millions in losses. Wells Fargo allegedly abandoned the partnership without notifying Dillard’s, despite previous consent orders. Dillard’s welcomed the end of the relationship and is now partnered with Citigroup. Wells Fargo has not responded to requests for comment. Dillard’s had $593 million in net income in 2025.
