UK law firm DLA Piper has named Matt Tweedie as its new CFO, starting July 1, 2025. Tweedie, formerly with Knight Frank, brings extensive financial leadership experience to support DLA Piper’s growth strategy. He will be based in London, overseeing the firm’s finance function and strategic growth plans.

DLA Piper, with offices worldwide, recently advised on various transactions. This includes assisting a leading insurer with warranty and indemnity insurance for the acquisition of a majority stake in the JET fuel stations network in Germany and Austria. The firm also advised Benchmark Holdings on returning capital to shareholders and other financial matters.

Furthermore, DLA Piper advised Rhino Federated Computing in closing a $15m Series A financing round. The firm’s involvement in diverse advisory roles showcases its expertise and capability in navigating complex financial transactions and providing strategic guidance to its clients in different sectors.
