DoorDash is set to acquire Deliveroo for £2.9 billion, expanding its European reach with a 180 pence per share offer. Concurrently, DoorDash will purchase SevenRooms for $1.2 billion to broaden its services. The deal is backed by investors holding 15.4% of Deliveroo and forecasts Q2 EBITDA of $600-650 million. Deliveroo shareholders must approve with at least 75% support, potential counterbids from Amazon are possible.
