Equinor ASA subsidiary, Equinor Brasil Energia, plans to sell its 60% operated interest in the Peregrino field in Brazil to Prio Tigris for $3.35 billion. The payment will be made in two tranches, with Equinor continuing to operate the field until the transaction is finalized. Equinor’s share of production in the first quarter of 2025 was about 55,000 barrels per day. The company expects organic capital distributions of around $13 billion in 2025, with oil and gas production growth projected at about 4%. EQNR shares are up 3.58% at $23.12.
