Foxconn partners with Taiwan to build AI factory and NVIDIA supercomputer to accelerate innovation

Foxconn’s subsidiary, Big Innovation Company, will build the NVIDIA Blackwell supercomputer with 10,000 Blackwell GPUs to enhance AI computing in Taiwan. TSMC will utilize the AI infrastructure for research and development, while the Taiwan National Science and Technology Council will invest in a supercomputer to accelerate AI development across industries. Foxconn aims to drive regional technology innovation as an NVIDIA Cloud Partner, leveraging advanced AI infrastructure to enhance automation and efficiency in smart cities, electric vehicles, and manufacturing, ultimately connecting industries and accelerating growth with AI.

The AI factory will feature NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra systems, including NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 rack-scale solutions with NVIDIA NVLink, Quantum InfiniBand, and Spectrum-X Ethernet networking. Big Innovation Cloud also plans to participate in the NVIDIA DGX Cloud Lepton marketplace, providing advanced GPU resources to various enterprises, startups, research institutions, and industry leaders, accelerating AI development and deployment in Taiwan. Foxconn will use the AI supercomputer to optimize transportation systems, enhance quality of life, improve electric vehicles, and streamline manufacturing operations through AI-driven analytics and automation.
