FTSE 100 Advances Again | Nasdaq

U.K. stocks are up on Friday following positive news on U.S.-China tariff agreement and progress in EU-U.S. talks. The FTSE 100 is up 0.73% at 8,696.65. St. James’s Place is up 4.8%, with AstraZeneca and GSK gaining 2.1% and 1.8%. Several other stocks like IAG, F&C Investment Trust, and Admiral Group are up 1 to 2%. However, Workspace Group shares are down nearly 8% due to profit headwind forecasts. Everplay Group shares are down 3% after CEO Steve Bell stepped down. Land Securities Group is down 0.5% despite reporting a pre-tax profit of £393 million.
