Groww is acquiring Fisdom for $150m, pending SEBI approval, to enhance services and diversify revenue streams. Groww plans an IPO valued at $7-8bn after filing its prospectus. Fisdom offers various financial services, with over one million customers and 15 offices in India, attracting investments from Prosus, Saama Capital, and Quona Capital. This acquisition follows Groww’s purchase of Indiabulls Asset Management Company. With a consolidated revenue of Rs31.45bn ($367m) for 2024 and operating profit of Rs5.35bn ($62.5m), Groww continues its growth trajectory from its humble beginnings as a mutual fund platform in 2016.
