India’s Farmley secures $42m funding in L Catterton-led round

India-based snacks company Farmley has secured $42m in a Series C funding round led by private-equity firm L Catterton, with DSG Consumer Partners also participating. The investment will help scale Farmley’s dried fruits and nuts segment in the healthy snacking market. Established in 2017, Farmley offers a range of better-for-you snacking options like flavoured foxnuts, trail mixes, date bites, and roasted nuts. Co-founders Sharma and Agarwal plan to expand into untapped markets and develop new product formulations using advanced food technology. L Catterton’s investment in Farmley aligns with its focus on better-for-you positioning and high-quality products. The company’s revenue has grown by approximately 55% annually over the past two years, reaching around $41m in FY25. L Catterton’s portfolio in the packaged food industry includes other brands like Little Moons, Ferrara Candy Company, and Goodles.
