Italpizza secures €58m funding from local banks to boost production at three Italian plants: Modena, Castelbelforte, and Mortara. The goal is to increase total production capacity to 575 million frozen pizzas a year by 2028. This investment supports industrial growth and competitive positioning in domestic and international markets.

The project includes building a logistics hub to optimize distribution and support company growth. UniCredit, Banco BPM, BPER, and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti provided the financing over a ten-year period. Italpizza Group’s annual turnover is €430m, with 60% generated from 58 overseas markets. The company operates seven production facilities and employs around 1,800 people.

Andrea Bondioli, managing director of Italpizza Group, expressed gratitude to the investing banks for their confidence in the industrial development plan. UniCredit’s north central regional manager, Andrea Burchi, highlighted the importance of supporting companies like ItalPizza to create value for the production system and communities. The company was founded in 1991 and is a key player in the frozen food sector.
