The iShares Core MSCI Total International Stock ETF (IXUS) saw inflows of $1.4 billion, reaching $42.4 billion in assets under management. The Nasdaq Composite rose 1.5% on strong earnings from Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) and Meta Platforms Inc. (META). On the outflows side, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) experienced redemptions of $3.9 billion despite a 0.6% gain in the S&P 500. International equity ETFs gained $2.1 billion in inflows, while U.S. equity ETFs lost $5.3 billion due to an increase in weekly jobless claims to 241,000, resulting in overall net outflows of $4.2 billion.
