KBC Bank NV has agreed to acquire a 98.45% stake in 365.bank from J&T Finance Group SE for EUR 761 million. The acquisition is expected to strengthen KBC’s presence in Slovakia and enhance its retail banking operations. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is anticipated to close by the end of 2025. The combination of ČSOB and 365.bank will establish a strong banking group in Slovakia, with a 20% market share in net retail loans and mortgages. KBC Group aims to provide safe, reliable, and personalized financial services to its customers in Slovakia through this acquisition.
