KPIT opens new engineering centre in Tunisia

KPIT Technologies has opened a new software engineering center in Sfax, Tunisia to enhance its delivery footprint and drive innovation in the mobility ecosystem. The center aims to be a hub for innovation in propulsion software, vehicle network development, and more, benefiting local talent and supporting over 500 KPIT employees in Tunisia.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior leaders from the Tunisian automotive sector, investment authorities, universities, and KPIT’s leadership. KPIT’s CTO, Anup Sable, highlighted the center’s strategic importance in delivering for European OEMs and supporting mobility transformations worldwide. The move further expands KPIT’s global delivery network, positioning Tunisia as a key location for cutting-edge technology investments.

Tunisia Investment Authority President Namia Ayadi emphasized Tunisia’s position as a hub for innovation and high-tech expertise, welcoming KPIT’s investment as a testament to the country’s appeal for international investors. KPIT’s establishment in Tunisia is seen as a transformative project that promotes high-skilled employment, knowledge transfer, and integration into global value chains, aligning with Tunisia’s forward-looking reforms.
