Levi Strauss is selling its Dockers brand to Authentic Brands Group for up to $391 million, with an initial value of $311 million and a potential additional $80 million based on performance. The move aligns with Levi’s focus on its core brand and athleisure wear. Dockers, known for popularizing “Casual Fridays,” struggled during the pandemic as office dress codes relaxed. Levi Strauss began evaluating options for Dockers last year due to underperformance. The sale is expected to close by July 31 for the U.S. and Canada, and January 2026 for remaining operations. Levi Strauss reported $6.36 billion in revenue for 2024.
