However, it is expected to face pressure again on Monday due to negative global forecasts on trade and tariff concerns. The KLCI finished higher on Friday, with gains from financial shares. The index added 8.36 points to finish at 1,535.38. Wall Street closed lower on Friday, with the Dow dropping 256.02 points, the NASDAQ tumbling 188.53 points, and the S&P 500 sinking 39.19 points. Crude oil prices ticked higher on Friday but fell for the week due to reports of another OPEC production increase for July.
