CIMB Bank partners with ACI Worldwide to modernize payments platform, consolidating all transactions onto one system for efficiency and compliance. ACI’s solution will enhance data exchange and processing, improving interoperability and security. The collaboration aims to increase operational agility and cost savings for the bank, with significant improvements in straight through processing expected. CIMB’s payment transformation is part of its Forward30 Strategy to deliver seamless, secure, and intelligent payment experiences for consumers and businesses. ACI Worldwide brings half a century of experience in real-time payment schemes globally, supporting 26 domestic and pan-regional schemes. CIMB Bank offers a wide range of banking services across ASEAN, with a market capitalization of approximately RM75.2bn ($18bn) and 592 retail branch networks. The partnership aims to future-proof operations and accelerate digital convergence for the bank.
