Australian miner Minerals 260 has agreed to sell its Aston lithium-rare earth elements project in WA to Delta Lithium. The deal includes a A$450,000 cash payment and a 1.5% NSR royalty on future sales. The sale aligns with Minerals 260’s focus on developing the Bullabulling gold project, which has significant exploration prospects.

The Aston project, adjacent to Delta’s Yinnetharra lithium project, consists of 17 tenements. The completion of the sale is pending Ministerial consent and must occur within five business days or within 30 days of executing the agreement. Minerals 260 will maintain the tenements until the sale is finalized.

Minerals 260 raised $220m in April 2025 to develop the Bullabulling gold project, which has a JORC 2012 mineral resource estimate of 60 million tonnes at 1.2 grams per tonne gold, equivalent to 2.3 million ounces of gold. The project spans 570km² and has potential for an open-pit mining operation.
