Mustang Energy launches field programme at 914W Uranium Project in Canada

Skyharbour Resources’ partner, Mustang Energy, has started the 2025 field exploration programme at the 914W Uranium Project in Saskatchewan, Canada. The project covers 1,260ha near Cameco’s Key Lake Operation. Mustang Energy aims to earn a 75% interest by fulfilling certain conditions over three years.

The field programme includes detailed rock and soil sampling to identify potential mineralisation zones. Mustang Energy CEO Nick Luksha stated excitement for the upcoming work at 914W. Skyharbour also holds the Moore Uranium Project, benefitting from the improving uranium market and featuring high-grade uranium mineralisation at the Maverick Corridor.

Skyharbour’s extensive portfolio in the Athabasca Basin includes over 614,000ha of uranium exploration projects. The company operates at the Russell Lake Uranium Project with joint venture partner RTEC, showing widespread uranium mineralisation. Mustang Energy also obtained permits for exploration at the Ford Lake Project in the Athabasca Basin, valid until September 2027.
