Alphabet is the best performer while Applied Materials is the worst performer on Nasdaq 100.

In early trading, Alphabet leads as the best performing Nasdaq 100 component, up 2.6%. Year to date, Alphabet has lost 11.2% of its value. On the flip side, Applied Materials is the worst performer, down 6.1% for the day but with a 0.9% gain year to date. Warner Bros Discovery is also down 2.5% today.
