The Nasdaq 100 rose by 1.8% and was on track to end the day with a 1.1% gain for 2025. The S&P 500 saw a 1% increase, despite almost half of its member stocks experiencing declines. Leaders included Super Micro Computer, up 15%, Palantir Technologies, up 9.2%, and Vistra, up 6.6%. Nvidia led the Magnificent Seven group with a gain of almost 6%.
